Staladex^® (leuproelin acetate)

What is Staladex?

Staladex is a treatment that helps reduce the level of the male hormone, testosterone. This hormone plays a role in the growth of prostate cancer cells.^1,2

Staladex is used to treat adult men with prostate cancer.*

How does Staladex work?

Staladex is an implant that contains an active ingredient called leuprorelin. This belongs to a group of medicines called luteinising hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonists.^1,2

Staladex works by reducing the level of testosterone by blocking the production of luteinising hormone (LH) in the body, a key hormone that helps produce testosterone.^1,2

What is Prostate Cancer?
